Application

Efficient, Innovative, Reliable

Applying CON-AID

CON-AID integrates easily into conventional road construction without requiring special equipment or processes. It can be mixed with water and applied using standard machinery like tractors or roto-mixers, aligning with familiar rehabilitation methods. Construction can also be coordinated with existing road owner crews, cutting outsourcing needs and reducing overall costs. In some cases, CON-AID can even be applied to finished road surfaces with minimal disruption to traffic or road operations.

Standard Equipment

CON-AID integrates with standard roadbuilding machinery, requiring no specialized tools or modifications to existing fleet operations.

Reduces Project Costs

Enables efficient use of internal crews, lowering reliance on external contractors and minimizing overall construction expenditures.

Minimal Disruption

Application can occur on finished surfaces with limited disruption, maintaining traffic flow and avoiding extended road closures.

Construction Method

A Straightforward Process. Long-Lasting Results.

CON-AID is applied using standard roadbuilding equipment and a proven seven-step process. No specialized tools or major disruption required.

STEP 01

PREPARE

Clear the ditches and pull the shoulders to shape the road.

application01

STEP 02

SCARIFY

Scarify the road too a depth of 20 cm.

application02

STEP 03

APPLY CON-AID

Add the recommended amount of CON-AID to water, spray evenly over the scarified area, and bring the soil to just above optimum moisture content.

application03

STEP 04

MIX

Mix the scarified layer thoroughly and evenly to achieve consistent moisture throughout.

application04

STEP 05

Shape

Shape the road and compact it, ensuring a 4% crown.

application05

STEP 06

Roll

Finish with a pneumatic roller, adding water as needed.

application06

STEP 07

cure

Apply a light mist of clean water daily for 7-10 days to support curing.

ROLLING

Finish rolling the surface with a pneumatic roller, adding water as needed. Note that once Con-Aid is applied, the road will dry quickly.

SPRAY

Spray a light mist of clean water onto the treated surface once a day for 7–10 days after application. This step is essential, as it helps support and complete the curing process.
